Oats—Prime milliner aiidi bright feed lines are in good demand at late values, but for medium and inferior oafcs there is little demand. Shippers in most cases decline to take the risk of the latter quality, and most of tlieda.' orders are for bright, sound feed. Quotations Prime milling 2s 8d to 2s 9d ; best feed 2s 7d to 2s Bd, medium to goqd 2s 4d to 2s 6d; inferior 2s to 2s 3d per bushel 'sacks extra). Wheat—The market is excited, and all classes ahve hardened considerably. Local stocks are for the most part confined to medium milling Qualities which have, for some time [pjast, been purchased in many cases for fowl -wheat in consequence of the scarcity of the latter. Prime milling is in strong demand, and medium sorts have experienced a rise of about 6d per bushel. The market is bare of fowl wheat, which sells at record prices for the season. Quotations: Prime milling, 4s 6d to 4s 9d; medium, 4s to 4s 3d; whole fowl wheat, 3s 6d to 3s lOd: damaged, 3s to 3s 4d per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes —Local stocks are exhaiisted, and in view of small supplies coming forward prices have undergone a sharp advance. In the absence of representative dualities, the quotations are nominal. Quotations —Best Denvents, £5 to £55 10s ; medium, £4 to £4 15s per ton (bags in).

Chaf? —Prune oaten sheaf is scarce, and rnteets with .a^eady sal© at satisfactory prices. Medium to good quality is more plentiful, and readily realises late values.
