London, May 10. Mr W. Redmond's amendment to call tho Irish Legislature Irish Parliament was rejected by a large majority. Sir W. James has accepted the Premier's challenge, »nd will move a now clause declaring the supremacy of the Imperial Parliament in case of dispute. An amendment proponing that the Irish Legislature shall h» subordinate to tho Imperial Parliament was rejected by 35, Gladstone objecting to it aB putting a bar sinister upon Hie Irish Piuliament.
