One and a half miles. Single event. Entrance, £3 3s. Second horse to save his stakes. 2. Welter Stakes, £ . One and a half miles. Welter weights. Post Entrance, £1 10s. 3. Scurry Race, £ . One mile. Catch weights. Entrance £1 4. Wanganui Stakes, £25. Open to all horses. Weight %r age. Two miles. Entrance £2 10s. Second horse to save his stakes. SECOND BAY. 1. Hurdle Race, £ . lOlbs less than welter weights. Two miles and a distance, over seven hurdles. Entrauce £2 2s Second horse to save his stakes. 2. Wanganui Jockey Club Plate. £55. Weight for age. Two and a half miles. Entrauce £4 4s. Second horse to save his stakes. 3. Stock Horse Race, £ . For stock horses bona fide the property of stock owners in the Wanganui and Rangitikei districts, that have been regularlyridden after stock for at least twelve months before the date of entrance, and that are not entered for any other race at the present meeting. Two miles. lOlbs less than welter weights. Post entrance. 4. Maiden Plate, £25. Weight for age. One and a half miles. Entrauce £2 10s. Second horse to save his stakes. 5. Consolation Stakes, £ . Once round the course. Horses to be handicapped by the Stewards. Entr-ance £1 Is. The First entrance for the Produce Stakes on the 13th October, at the Rutland Hotel, to close at 8 p.m. The Second entrance to close at the same place at 8 p.m. on the 13th November, — entrance Five Guineas Genei'al entries to be made atjsame place for all other races on 13th November to close at 8 p.m. The rules of the Wanganui Jockey Club will be strict!v adhered to.
