TO STAND THIS SEASON The magnificent Entire Horse “TOM J O N E S.” TOM JONES is a rich dark bay, stands sixteen hands high, on short legs, with immense power and fine action. Out of an imported mare by Invincible. Sire Invincible bred by John Miles, Esq , of Worcester, and won the first prize at Shrewsbury against all England, and afterwards imported to New South Wales by George Wilson, Esq., and gained the first prize at the Liverpool Agricultural Society’s Show in 1858. During the season he will stand at the Ben Nevis, Turakina on Tuesday morning ; Travellers’ Rest, Tvitaenui Wednesday morning ; Coach and Horses Middle Rangitikei, Thursday morning ; and the rest of the week at the Station of the owner’, W. GALPIN. Terms Single mares, £3; two mares, £5. Tutaenui, Oct 27, TO STAND THIS SEASON. HE pure bred Clydesdale Stallion LOCHRYAN, Imported from Scotland last season. A fine bright bay, rising four years old, with good bones and symmetrical form ; stands fully 16 hands 2 inches high, and has splendid action ; he is the winner of ten first prizes. He is by Mr Ken of Kilbirines’ “ Champion.” “Lochryan’s” darn was got by “ Lothian Tam,” and “ Lotlrian Tam ” was byClyde.” During this season he will stand at the Rutland Stables on Mondays and Tuesdays ; the remainder of the week at Kai Twi.
