10th March. A native meeting, attended by 600 natives, has just been held at Waitotara, to settle a land dispute between the Whanganui and Ngarauru tribes. An amicable decision was arrived at, by which the Whanganui relinquished all claims to any land between Kai Iwi and Waitotara Hivers.
