Bimler, of Featherston, writing home recently, states: "The weather in Italy is now good, just like it is in New Zealand at Christmas time. We are now out of the dine and camping in a lovely place, with nice green fields and trees. It is certainly a change from North Africa, where it was sand and flies all the time, and hardly any rain. There are two other Featherston boys here, lan Feist and Joe Mellish. We are all well and fit, and looking forward to the war finishing before next Christmas.
