AN AIRMAN’S DEATH

“INCREDIBLE FOOLISHNESS.” (Special P.A. Correspondent.) LONDON, December 31. A verdict of accidental, death was returned at the inquest on the death of Flight Sergeant Lawrence Gordon Knight, of Inglewood, who was found dead with a revolver lying beside him at Putney, London. It was stated in evidence that Knight came into the room where he was staying on leave, put a cartridge in the revolver, pointed it at his head, and shouted: “Let's see where it is.” He pressed the trigger about five times. It fired next time. The coroner said Knight had acted with incredible foolishness.
