(To the Editor.) Sir,—May I congratulate the Mayor on his stand against a formal procession on Saturday. Today we should think of the men who made the victory over Itaiv possible and do our bit and if necessary more than our bit to help these men. Will you please forward the enclosed £1 to the Women’s Fund for Patriotic purposes?—l am, etc., SISTER OF PRISONER OF WAR. The £1 enclosed will be handed over as requested. ■ Ed.
