WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
MEETING AT RONGOKOKAKO RESULTS OF MONTHLY COMPETITIONS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Rongokokako Women's Institute was held in the local hall on Tuesday, Mrs W. O'Neil presiding over a good attendance. One new member was welcomed. A skill test was won by Mrs K. Falkner. The hostesses were Mesdames R. McAnulty and K. Falkner. The monthly competitions resulted as follows: Best collection of spring bulbs, Mrs J. P. Sigvertsen 1, Mrs Baucke 2, Mrs Morriss, Senr., 3. Premier bloom. Mrs Baucke 1, Mrs S. Smith 2, Mrs J. P. Sigvertsen 3. Three flowers, Mrs M. Morriss 1, Mrs Morriss, genr. 2, Mrs J. P. Sigvertsen 3. Mrs O’Neil thanked the judges of the competitions, Mrs Simpson and Mrs Searancke.
