It can now be revealed that United States troops are in Great Britain as well as in Northern Ireland. They are stationed all over the country, but are only the vanguard of even greater numbers. Americans are now a familiar sight in London. They are magnificently equipped and heavily armed. PERMISSION NEEDED FOR MARRIAGE ABROAD. WASHINGTON, June 20. The War Department announced that military personnel serving in a foreign country or possession are not allowed to marry without the approval of the United States commanding officer in the area involved.
