ENDING THE RUSSIAN CAMPAIGN. ATTACK IN MEDITERRANEAN TO FOLLOW. NEW YORK, August 12. Diplomats report that, the German High Command hopes to end the Russian campaign in September and that it is already planning an all-out attack on the British forces in the Mediterranean theatre, says the Washington correspondent of the “Herald-Tri-bune.” The aim is to control the Mediterranean for the transport of Russian food and raw materials.
