'THE estimated expenditure for sealing i streets and other works in the Borough is £2295. and the estimated revenue from various sources is £1063 10/-. The rateable property in the Borough is £35.600. The additional amount required is £1231/10/-, which it is proposed to raise by— A General Rate of fivepence farthing in the pound. A Lighting Rate of one penny and three-eighths of a penny in the pound. A Library Rate of three-eighths of a penny in the pound. The above Estimates were approved by the Council at the meeting held on the 12th day of June, 1941, and it is proposed to strike and levy the said rates and charges at a meeting of the Borough Council, to be held in the Borough Council Chambers on THURSDAY, the 10th day of July, 1941.
