BOMBING OF DUBLIN
RESPONSIBILITY ADMITTED BY NAZIS. OFFER TO PAY COMPENSATION. DUBLIN. June 19. The Germans admit the bombing of Dublin on May 31. The Government Information Bureau stated that Germay blamed strong prevailing winds which might have driven a plane over the east coast of Ireland without the knowledge of the pilot. The possibility of such a plane dropping bombs was not excluded. Germany expressed regret and was prepared to pay compensation for loss of life and in,jury to personal property.
