DECORATION GALLANTLY WON. SERGEANT F. S. KIRKE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Advice rias been received at Air Headquarters in Wellington that Sergeant Frank Skipworth Kirke has J been awarded the D.F.M. Sergeant ‘Kirke was born in Wellington in 1917 and was educated at Marlborough College, Blenheim. His next of kin in his mother, Mrs A. B. Kirke. of Owen Street, Wellington. [ The official citation says that Sergeant Kirke has completed many operations against the enemy as an air observer, that his navigation had been of the very highest order. He had always shown the greatest keenness in his work and he lias displayed outstanding ability, determination and devotion to duty throughout.
