PEOPLE OF HOLLAND

FULL OF HATE AGAINST NAZI INVADERS STATEMENT BY PRINCE BERNHARD. HOPES THAT OPPRESSED WILL RISE IN GOOD TIME. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 1.10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 18. Prince Bernhard, on leaving the White House for Canada, told the Press that the people of conquered Holland were very full of hate against the German invaders. He expressed the opinion that the conquered people of Europe will rise against their oppressors. but hoped they would not revolt too early or they would be massacred. He said: “We are using every effort to induce them to bide their time for the right moment.” Prince Bernhard declared that the chances of a successful Nazi invasion of England were nil. Asked whether he was confident of eventual British victory. Princess Juliana interjected a quick, emphatic: “Oh,' yes!” before Prince Bernhard could reply.
