WELLINGTON, This Day. j The New Zealand chess congress finished in Wellington last night, the • championship being won for the sixth j time by J. B. Dunlop (Otago). His score was nine and a half points out of a possible 13. He won seven games drew five, and lost one. A. W. Gyles (Wellington), and I. Burry (Auckland), were runners-up, each scoring nine points.
