The Southland Racing Club's summer meeting concluded in fine weather with one or two showers. The track was in good order. The attendance was large. The totalisator for the day handled £18,963 10s, against £19.168 10s last year, a decrease of £232. For the meeting the figures were £38,378 10s, against £40,891 10s, a decrease of £2513.
