TYROL EXPULSIONS

DEFENCE OF BRITISH RIGHTS. DIPLOMATIC ACTION TAKEN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 13. In the House of Commons today in answer to a reference to the expulsion of foreigners from Bolzamo Province (Italian Tyrol), the Foreign Undersecretary, Mr R. A. Butler, stated that the British Ambassador in Rome had on instructions already raised the question with Italy and had fully reserved the rights of British subjects. The Ambassador had, in particular, drawn the attention of the authorities to the question of a transfer abroad of the proceeds of any liquidation of British property which might become necessary as a result of the order.
