COLLEGE HOCKEY
WAIRARAPA v. DANNEVIRKE. TEAMS FOR TOMORROW. The annual hockey matches between Wairarapa College and Dannevirke High Schoo! are to take place on the College grounds tomorrow afternoon. The Junior game is to begin at 2 o'clock and the Senior at 2.30. The Wairarapa College team stands second in the local senior competition, and should be able to give a good account of themselves against Dannevirke, where hockey of a high standard lias always been played. It is hoped that, there will be a good attendance of the public to witness the games. The visiting teams are to be entertained at a picture party tonight and at a dance in the College Assembly Hall tomorrow night. The teams are as follow: — Wairarapa College A team: —Alison Morice, Judith Childs, Elaine Hanley (captain). Kathleen Ross, Miria Chamber, Glen Daysh, Janet Aikman, Lucy Wilton, Florence Baird, Ngaire Wrigley, Mary Smith. Wairarapa College B team: —Jean Stevens (captain). Joan Grantham. Rosalie Hanley, Ngaire Richards. Winifred Armstrong, Olive Davis, Audrey Bilderbeck, Melba Nyhan, Nancy Wilson, June Miller. Pat Howard. Emergencies: Alma Tooby, Rita McGovern. Dannevirke High School A team:— Joan Norton, Mary Irwin, Emeraina Takerei, Ngaire Patterson, Nola Cassidy (captain), Flora Irwin. Kay Ayres. Mollie Riddell, Joyce Bradley, Pat Donaldson. Helen Zadey. Dannevirke High School B team: — Molly Everden, Dorothy Allardice (captain), Avis Larsen. Marjorie Peters, June Williams, Betty Leslie, Nancy Hagen.
