BACHELORS’ DANCE AN ENJOYABLE GATHERING. (“Times-Age” Special.) On Tuesday evening Mr Hathaway’s woolshed was the scene of a happy and most enjoyable dance which was organised by the bachelors of the Dyerville district. The interior of the shed was effectively decorated with fern and streamers. Te Tau’s Orchestra supplied popular music and Mr F. Spiers carried out the duties of M.C. A dainty supper was served by the ladies after which dancing was continued. The winners of the Monte Carlo were Miss N. Prussing and Mr C. McCardle. x Personal Items. Mr Frank Thomas returned to Wellington today, having been on a visit to his mother. Mr and Mrs R. Burch, Tawaha, returned by the Awatea last Monday from a six weeks’ holiday in Australia. Mr J. Martin has returned from a three weeks’ holiday.
