ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

CONCERT TONIGHT. The St John Ambulance wilj give a concert in the Opera House tonight, organised by Mrs Edna Paterson to raise funds for the Cadet and Men’s Divisions of the St John Ambulance Brigade. It is only by the continued support of the public that this organisation can carry on good work. Funds are urgently required to provide more uniforms for the Cadets and it is hoped that by this effort the Division will be able to equip all recruits who have passed their entrance examination with uniforms. The programme has been arranged to please all tastes and in addition to the work of the boys who have been trained by Mrs Paterson in camp-fire songs and sketches, leading local artists have generously offered their assistance.
