SOME FAVOURABLE SIGNS PROLONGATION OF FISHING AGREEMENT. BUT FLOW OF MUNITIONS CONTINUES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 11. The Warsaw correspondent of “The Times” says that while the Press welcomes Mr Chamberlain’s statement as “both a warning and an appeal to common sense,” Poland’s readiness to show reasonableness in relation to Danzig is demonstrated by her agreement to prolong for a further year the Polish-Danzig fishing agreement. There is simultaneously a favourable sign from Danzig, which has permitted the sale of ten banned Polish newspapers Munitions, however, continue to enter the Free City, mainly hand grenades. The calling up of Danzigers for ' compulsory labour service has been extended to Poles. The works consist mainly of fortifications.
