DRAMA FESTIVAL

ATTRACTION AT OPERA HOUSE.

SOME ATTRACTIVE PLAYS. Only two of the plays to be presented at the Drama Festival to be held in the Opera House on July 17 and 18 are from outside Masterton, and both of these are from Pahiatua. It is pleasing to see the keenness pf the Pahiatua players, and their plays which are quite new to Masterton, can be looked forward to with interest. These will both be presented on Tuesday evening. Also on this evening is a very bright modern comedy by Noel Coward, played by the St Matthew’s Church team. On this evening the judge, Mr Miles Wright, of Wellington, will sum up all .the performances, and give his decision on the plays. The public will find it necessary to book seats and booking is free at Mr Vivian Joseph’s, Queen Street.
