The second Wellington rabbitskin i sale of the season was held yesterday : by the New Zealand Loan and Mercan- j tile Agency Co., Ltd., Dalgety and Co., ] Ltd., and Wright, Stephenson, Ltd. ' Competition was very keen for all j grades and 'descriptions and a total I clearance was made at prices which ' were from 3d to 5d better than those < ruling at the June sale. With the cold < weather experienced during the- last i few weeks the quality of consignments is improving and the average price j to trappers for this sale will be con- j siderably higher than the last fixture, j The following is the range of prices: E —Runners and small, to BJd; racks, 12d £ to 15d; milky, to 9j.d; summers, to 10;'d; j dawny autumns, to 15d; early autumns, y 18Ad to 18jd; late autumns. 22,]d to 28d; £
