Featherston Town Board.
The regular monthly meeting of the Featherstuu Town Board was held Ott Monday evening. Present—Messrs Reynolds, Cundy, Oakley, and A. Donald.
The minutes of the previou* meet* ing and adjourned meeting were read and confirmed.
The Treasurer’s book showed a debit of £4 13s 4d.
The following accounts were pawed and paid ;—E Bloxham £4 4s, Wat* rarapa Standaed £ll9s, Steffert £2 la Bd, C W Keys, £3 9s Gd. The poundkeeper’s book uud report was read and fees paid 17a 6d ; th# ranger’s report was received and fee* paid 21a ; the registrar of doga paid in fees £1 iOa GJ ; the report was read. Accounts to tha amount of £ll 4a 12d were passed and paid. A large amount of correspondence was read, including a request for the use of the Kecreation Reserve by the volunteers on the 24th mat,, for the purpose of holding a review. It was resolved that the ranger be instructed to impound all cattle straying after 5 p.m.
Mr Lundy's notice of motion re lights, was after discussion, allowed to lapse.
