Friday Night's Concert.

The concert at the Town Hall, Greytown, on Friday night was again a great success. There was a good house and all the performers were greatly applauded, encores being demanded in every case. The instrumental music of Messrs Mackintosh, A. Hill, and Rev P. N. Hunter was of the usual high class nature and evoked considerable expressions of delight. The ABC Duet nearly the last item rendered so grandly by Miss Randall and Mr Prouse fairly brought down the house. Mrs Mackintosh sang “ Wait till the Tide Comes in ’’ with immense success. Mr J. Hill having a slight cold, was relieved on the programme by Mr Widdop who sahg two songs to the evident enjoyment of the audience. Mies A Widdop as usual played <be accompaniments in grand style and Miss Randall in her selections was beyond all ciiucism and it may be some time before we have a lady visitor in the VVairaraps blessed with talent equal to that lady; she has very few superiors in tho colony, the same may be said of Mr J. Prouse in his capacity ; be was iu grand voice on Friday night, and made the hall almost swell witli the grandeur of bis vccal powers.
