Local Bodies.
We don’t yol positively know what the Government will give the local bodies _>•* the shape of money aid. Their linancial proposals in that direction have not yet been considered in Committee, whore they are certain to be much mudilk-d. So far as we can make out. the Government proposals are liberal to the rich counties and Road Boards and starve out the poor ottos.
