WARNING TO FARMERS.
Farmers and others cannot be too careful not to use sodium chlorate sacks for apy other purpose, and should destroy them as soon as empty. An Otorohanga man has been in the habit of purchasing sacks from farmers, and some of these had previously contained sodium chlorate. 'The other day he was unloading a truck of coal and was drawing a sack along the truck when it ignited. He had just time to drop the sack on the ground when it exploded. Had he been a second less prompt the whole truck of coal would have gone up in flames.
