From April Ist next the radio receiving license fee will be reduced from 30s to 25s per annum. In making this announcement the Postmaster General, the Hon. A. Hamilton, said the feasibility of reducing the fee had been under consideration for some time, and he was now pleased to state that conditions permitted this concession to listeners. The step taken was in pursuance of the policy of providing facilities at the cheapest possible cost to the public.
