WAIPA CLUB'S'MEETING. THE ACCEPTANCE'S. The following acceptances were received for the Waipa Racing Club's annual totalisator meeting on the Te Awamutu- racecourse on Saturday next, December 15th:— PIRONGIA HURDLES. Of £100; 1* miles.

MEETING OF COMMITTEE. Messrs A. S. Wallace, A. H. Storey, W. Alexander, C. P. Storey, J. O'Sullivan, J. T. Young, A. Bond, F. Quin, M. Hi Tims, T. G. Martin and the secretary (Mr J. G. Wynyard) were in attendance at a meeting of the Waipa Racing Club Committee on Friday evening. The chief business was to receive the acceptances for the annual race meeting next Saturday. The secretary reported that the acceptances totalled 104, as compared with 107 last December. Most of the events had attracted very satisfactory fields, but in the Flying Handicap there were only six acceptors, and in the Te Awamutu Cup there were eight —the same number as in the Hack Cup Handicap. The secretary reported having attended to, or arranged for, several minor matters in connection with the conduct of the meeting.—Approved. It was stated there was a desire for a two year old parade, as expressed by local trainers and owners.—The idea was approved, and the parade will take place immediately after the Waipa Plate. Mrs Walker (To Awamutu), and Messrs Sam Angelinovich (Te Awamutu), E. M. Metcalfe (Pokuru), and A. Anderson (Kihikihi) were elected members of the club.
