The prizes for bridge were won by Mrs Potts (highest score), Mrs Goodall (nearest square number), and Mrs J. B. \V. Roberton.

Word has been received in Cambridge from the Head Commissioner of the Girl Guide Movements, Mrs R. Coates, o$ Auckland, that Mrs G. G. L. Taylor, of Cambridge, has been appointed Divisional Commissioner for the South Auckland district from Huntly to Taumarunui. Though she has not previously held office, Mrs Taylor has always been keenly interested in the Guide Movement and at one time assisted her brother, who was a Scout Officer. Mrs Tajylor's well-known organising ability and personality should have her a valuable asset to the Guide Movement in the district. She will take over the office as from January 1.
