PUTARLKBU STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company report having held their Putaruru stock sale last Friday, wihen there was a good yarding of all classes of stock and a very satisfactory clearance. The under-mentioned prices were obtained: Prime medium-weight bullocks* £6 37s 6d to £7, fat cows £4 10s to £6 7s 6d, light fat cows £2 16s to £3 6s, store cows to £2 2s 6d, boners 10s to £1 4s, pen of 18Hm!onth Hereford and cross-bred heifers £1 16s, yearling Shorthorn heifers £1 9s, yearling Holstein heifers £1 ss. A large yarding of dairy cattle came forward, and all well-grown quality heifers sold at £5 ss, medium heifers £3 to £3 17s 6d, small and inferior £1 10s to £2 10s, best cows £3 10s to £4 10s, inferior cows £2 to, £3 ss, store pigs 18s to £1 14s, small stores 12s to 16s, good weaners 10s to 12s, small ditto 6s to Bs, breeding sows £2 5s to £3 2s 6d, fat ewes and wethers 225, fat hoggets 225, cull ewes in lamb 7s 6d. Sundries made full market rates.
