The whole of the new concrete pavement on the Great South Road between Papakura and Runciman is likely to be open to traffic in about a week's time. The building and sealing of the shoulders have not yet been completed, wet weather having delayed the contractors. The work is in progress, however, and should be finished shortly if there are no further delays.
