TE AWAMUTU CLUB. The following is the draw 1 for the second round of the president's trophy to be played at the week-end, 18 holes medal:—i Wallace v. Coombes, Blundell v. Shepherd, Holmes v. Gobbs, Barnett v Tonibs, Foggin v. Hiskens, McDonald v. Sterritt, Brown v. McCarter, York v. Peake, Williams v. Preston, Clarkson v. Bertram, O'Sullivan v. Power, Lash v. Goodall, Muir v. Guest, Roberton v. Babbage, Clarke v. Kirk, Myers v. Steer, Cullen v. Nielson, James v. Craig, North v. Morey, Ahier v. Another. KIO KIO AND OTOROHANGA.
On the Kio Kio links the first round in the captain's trophy was contested, and the best cards returned were by Mrs F. Cleland, in the ladies', and Mr M. Sing, for men. On the Otorohanga links the best cards in the first round cf the eclectic match were returned by N. Ormsby (63 net), and J. M; Quin (69 net). Re-handicaps declai-ed:—N. Ormsby 20; J. M, Quin 27.
