TABLE TENNIS
TE MAWHAI V. KIHIKIHI. On Thursday evening the Kihikihi Club went to Te Mawhai to play off a further game for the Puixiix Shield. Te Mawhai proved victorious by 46 games to 15, the points being Te Mawhai 1763, Kihikihi 1548. Mr Perrott, on behalf of the Te Mawhai Club, thanked the visitors for an enjoyable evening, and Mr Richax-dson, of the Kihikihi Club, replying, said that although they had come with hopes of winning, they had nevertheless enjoyed the evening. He hoped that his club woxxld have better luck ixx its return match with Te Mawhai. After the Te Mawhai ladies had dispensed a dainty supper, dsneing was indulged in for a short time. Mr M. Wilson kindly supplied the music.
