PATERANGI NOTES

BRIDGE EVENING. (Own Correspondent.) Mrs H. Norton. gave a delightful bridge evening at her home in Pa*terangi, in aid of the Anglican Church funds. The spacious drawing room was arranged with autumn flowers and brightly coloured leaves. Mrs Norton received her guests in a frock of blue lace. A delicious -savoury and sweet supper was handed round. Winners for bridge were Mrs G. McCallum, and for 500 Miss Y. Rybum and Mr S. Adams. Among those present were Mrs H. Norton, Mrs Anderson, Mrs Hopping, Mrs L. Rice, Mrs G. McCallum, Mrs F. J. B. Ryburn, Mrs Stevens, Mrs Taylor, Mrs Smith, Mrs Grey, Mrs G. Finn, Mrs H. Oldham, Mrs Marx, Miss Norton, Miss D.
