TE AWAMUTU v. HAMILTON. The first round of the Waikato C .grade competition was . played on the Te Awamutu Badminton Club’s courts on Monday evening,.when Te Awamutu lost to Hamilton by four games to eight. The local club was well represented, and all members not playing in the matches had ample practice and recreation on the second court. As. usual, the ladies, served a delightful supper, and at 10.45, when the.last match was played, all went homeward feeling well satisfied with the. result of the first match .in. this competition.
