OBITUARY

MISS B. MUNRO, TE RORE. Profound regret spread throughout the district when it became known that Miss B. Munro had passed away on the 16th inst. Deceased was a daughter of the late Mr D. Munro, of Paterangi, and a niece of Mr John and Miss E. Munro, of Te Rore, with whom for many years she had made her home. The Rev. D. Stewart conducted a very impressive burial service in the Paterangi Church last Thursday and spoke feelingly upon the many good qualities of deceased who had been called away in the prime of life. The long cortege, which wended its way to the Paterangi cemetery, and the numerous and beautiful floral wreaths and emblems which covered the grave, were a' fitting evidence of the esteem in which the deceased was held, and also of the poignant grief of a very wide circle of sincere friends. Great sympathy is felt for the bereaved ones.
