RISE IN BUTTER
NEW ZEALAND AT 110 s. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. With a total rise of 9s per cwt in London quotations for New Zealand finest butter during the period, the week has been one of the most satisfactory to the dairy industry for a long time. At present the market is steadier at the advance, but top quotations have risen a further Is per cwt to 110 s, the average being 109 s. A similar improvement has taken place in Australian- but Danish butter has remained stationary throughout the week at 120 s per cwt. The improvement in the cheese market also is continuing steadily. Quotations for both colour's are Is 6d per cwt higher over the week at 54s and 55s for white and coloured respectively. ~
