DAMAGES AWARDED
WOMAN STRUCK BY CAR. (By Telegraph. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday. Special damages £347 4s 7d and £325 general damages were awarded by tne jury in a claim arising out of an accident at an intersection in which Mrs Irene Addis Smith was knocked down and injured by a motor-car driven by Mrs Caroline Priscilla Purdie. Mr Justice McGregor refrained from entering judgment for Mrs Smith, pending argument on a nonsuit point.
