RETURNING TO CAMP
RUAWARO RELIEF WORKERS
(By Telegraph. Press Association.) HUNTLY, Monday.
The strike of sing e men who abandoned the relief -camp at Ruawaro. near Huntly, has been shore-lived. Of the 53 men who left the camp on Friday afternoon, 12 have already returned, and it is anticipated that by the end of the week the camp will approach full strength. One man, it is understood, reported back about 10 minutes after the main body left. Work was recommenced by those in camp this morning. Everything was i nread ness to receive those who_ returned. No attempt to dismantle any of the tents was made when the men left after receiving their pay at 2 p.m. on * ndav All the equipment was stored, and' the overseer of the Public Works Department remained in camp.
