PRIDE OF THE NAVY
FAMOUS CRUISER SOLD. A Sheffield firm of ship-breakers has bought from the Admiralty the famous cruiser Tiger. The vessel will be broken up at Inverkeithing. The Tiger was built by John Brown and Company, Clydebank, and completed in October, 1914. at an original cost of over £2,000,000. The Tiger took part in both the Dogger Bank and Jutland battles.
