The man is Prince Bertrand de Faueiny-Lucinge a member of one of the most famous families in FranceHe is 32 years of age. It is proposed to obtain work for him on a farm in England, miles away from any town and where he will be unable to satisfy his craving for drugs. The fall of Prince Bertrand is one of the greatest tragedies of the last few years. Possessed of great wealth and having had a brilliant war career, he has since ruined his life by gambling, drugs, and dissipation. He quarrelled with his family. His friends would have nothing to do with him. He has been twice married, his second wife being Maria Lydia Hualberta Lloveras, a wealthy woman from the Argentine. But she obtained a separation from the Prince. After this the Prince went on with his gambling, losing hundreds of thouands of francs in almost every casino on the Continent.
