MAKE WHOLEMEAL RAISIN BREAD THIS WAY. One and a half cups of Bisley's Wholemeal, 11 cups flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 4 teaspoons baling powder, I cup sugar, 1 egg, 11 cups milk, 2 tablespoons melted butter, 1 cup raisins. Sift flour, baking powder, and sugar together, and mix with the wholemeal flour. Add well-beaten egg and milk, and mix thoroughly. Add melted butter and raisins. Put into greased loaf tin. Bake in moderate oven for 11 hours. Specify Bisley's Wholemeal Flour—s lb bags Is 9d, 25 lb bags 6s 6d—at all grocers'.
