TOO SCOTCH
An indignant protest has been voiced in the Canadian House of Commons by Mr T. Reid, a Liberal member who was born in Scotland, over the dismissal of an immigration inspector of British Columbia on the ground that his Scottish speech was so broad that the travelling public were unable to understand what he said when he. put questions to them. Mr "W. A. Gordon, Minister of Immigration, said he would see that "the Scotch got their rights," and promised an investigation.
