MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED

COLLISION NEAR WAIHOU. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TE AROHA, Monday. A young man, Mr Frank Stewart, of Springdale, was seriously injured in a motor-cycle accident on Saturday evening. With Mr Norman Dawson on the pillion seat, Mr Stewart was riding from Waitoa to Te Aroha, and when a mile past Waihou struck a bicycle, ridden by Mr Henry Goodison, aged 19, who was going in the same direction.

i Mr Stewart was taken to a private hospital in an unconscious state. He regained consciousness on Sunday and to-day his condition has slightly improved. The other two men involved received cuts and abrasions. -
