DEATH OF FOOTBALLER
INJURY CAUSED TO BRAIN.
(By Telegraph. Press Association.) ASHBURTON, Wednesday. At the inquest concerning the death of James Farr, aged 25, captain ol the Old Boys' Rugby team, who died on July 26, as the result of injuries bo his head received in a match that day, it was stated that the match was a hard and fast one. A verdict was returned that deceased died from laceration of the bram and diffuse hemorrhage, the result oi his having accidentally received a blow on the head from an opposing player's knee, no blame being attachable to anyone.
