THINKING LUCKY

.. If yo,u “think lucky” Luck will come your way. This has been the optimistic conviction of any number of successful people whose optimism has been justified by events. There are people who, by a reversal of all their gloomy mental habits, could give erst while latent talents a chance, and attain, at least in part, their heart’s desire. To “think lucky” simply means, in less elusive terms, to have faith. Faith in yourself and your star. The sort of faith that, as the Old Book says, will move mountains. How to acquire it ? Simply by practice! Regular, unceasingly practice of imagination, along the right lines. Let us visulise two types, for instance, after a job. One “thinks lucky.” The other glooms over the interview in advance, thanks to a thinking-unlucky complex that ruins the method of approach, asphyxiates self-confidence, and atrophies all those abilities that must have been

apparent in a job-seeking encounter. It is obvious who gets the goods over, so to speak, and secure the post. Think lucky, courageously and presistently, and the thought will in due course become the fait accompli.
