SAWMILL BURNED

MEN THROWN OUT OF WORK. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Wednesday. The sawmill of Sutherland and Co., at Te Toa, near Tuatapere, was totally destroyed by fire yesterday morning. When discovered, at 5.30 a.m., the fire had a good hold and all efforts to save the mill were unavailing. As the mill was working full time a large number of men will be thrown out of employment.
