“PICKLED” BUTTER.
Sir,—Could any of the many readers of your paper publish a good recipe for pickling butter in a wooden barrel and in a liquid state ? lam told that butter treated in this way can be kept fresh for twelve months, and can then be taken out, washed in fresh water, and worked up again. I am sure many people would be glad to have knowledge of such a recipe.—I am, etC ' ! FARMER.
